Witness - Here's One for You (Universal/Island)

Hailing from Wigan (yes that's right, Wigan!), Witness have already achieved great acclaim this year with the release of their second album, Under a Sun. October 22nd sees the release of the second song taken from that album, Here's One for You. Opening with serene lead guitar and the gentle vocals from Gerard Starkie, the ballad slowly becomes more powerful, developing into a memorable melody driven tune - incredibly strong, and ultimately very memorable. The single also features two exclusive Witness tracks: In Miniature - a slightly country sounding middle of the road track; and Pendulum - a mixture of The Rembrandts meets REM.
